TCE 1 overpower SOSH 5 with a
5-2 victory.

TCE 1 delivered a dominant
performance in securing the convincing 5-2 victory over SOSH 5 at Tut Sosha grounds,
On 5 May afternoon.
This win booked the squad its
first three points as it was their first game of a res league.

The blue boys dominated large
portions of the match, living their opponents in no space to breath.
The game got off to a flying
start for TCE 1, who opened the scoring just five minutes in through Smangaliso
Mgaga with a free kick just outside the box,
Which he managed to sweep it
through the heads of SOSH 5 players making the wall.
Thapelo Paho makes it on the
net just after a good runner to make it 2-0 lead,
Andile Ntombela came close to
doubling the lead shortly after but shot the post and it went over.
Sefako Matyolo tried to make a
comeback for his team with a short inside the box,
But his effort was saved by
the Tce 1 goalkeeper.
After receiving a good pass from Liyabona Nelani, Cyril Bila drifted past the goalkeeper and slotted the ball into the net.

Cyril Bila put in a clever
finish after leaving all SOSH 5 defenders on his tail.
TCE 1’s dominance was also
seen when an own goal capitalised on a defender’s error,
To grab his first goal of the
evening, giving the home side a commanding 5-0 lead heading into halftime.
The second half brought a
fightback from SOSH 5, who showed exceptional resilience despite the odds
stacked against them.
The visitors pulled a goal
back through a well-executed counterattack by Duba, taking advantage of a gap
in the home side’s defence,
eight minutes later, they
struck again and cut the deficit to just one goal.
However, the blue boys quickly
regrouped and reasserted their control of the game,
With SOSH 5 players pressing towards their
opponent’s defenders and trying to regain their form but all the effort was not
a success.
The game was sealed with a
comprehensive 5-2 victory for TCE 1,
With three points in bag, the
focus for blue boys will now turn to the next league match of the Res league
where they will face Telkom at TUT SOSHA GROUNDS.
Tumisho Motswi a SOSH 5 player
mentioned that their performance was very poor which led to their heavy loss, “As
players we don’t trust each other too much, but we need to fix our middle”
TCE 1 head coach N.C Maredi
stated that “TCE 1 is a big residence it has multiple teams with players
training in their teams, I use that to my advantage to play with fit players”,
he further mentioned that now
they hold the top position in the table.
Cyril Bila who scored two
goals in the match for TCE 1 voiced his gratitude about the game they had as it
bagged them three points. “Today’s game was a good start for us as a team, and
we wish to continue playing this way”.
