TCE2 Celebrates Brilliance: Academic Excellence Awards

The 23rd
of May 2025 was a vibrant day filled with joy for Tce2 residents.
In an event Academic
Excellence Class of 2025 hosted by Tce2 residence with an aim to recognise and
honour their hard-working residence in the year 2024,
Where they were honoured with certificates and awards,
In events of this celebration students were treated to
poetry by Nkazimulo Skosana,
Who took the crowd by a storm, reciting a poem on hard work
and consistency.

Students enjoyed some music to unwind as they were
preparing for their June examinations.
The evening was influential to students as some were
motivated,
To see their peers receiving awards of honour, desired and
believed that in the year 2025 they will improve,
and get recognition awards. The event was filled with joy
as emotions were evoked.
Amogelang Moliki who couldn’t make it to the event became
the achiever of the night,
Winning the overall highest which was 91%,
Best academic
performer in senior phase and FET
and best female
performer
Mvambi Ntsimbi who won the newcomer of the year and for
best male performer mentioned that
“After being stuck in a gap year for 7 years I decide to
use 2024 as a year to work hard and pay for those years wasted”,
As he used them as motivation.

The event also drew Alumni graduates of TCE2 residence, who
returned to witness the next generation of excellence.
They shared words of wisdom and encouragement with the
current students,
Ronny Motsenga who is a Tut graduate and former TCE2
resident felt honoured to
Be part of such an event as he commented that “This is what
TCE2 has been all about, always empower students to excel academically”.
In happiness of what was happening as the event unfolded,
Mpendulo Xulu had
to express his joy and motivation
“Watching my friend
walking to the stage felt very good to me”
he carried on saying that seeing his colleagues doing good
gives him that motivation about hard work.

As the academic Excellence Awards ceremony ended,
the class of 2025
beamed with their hard work and dedication validated recognition they received.
The event served as a testament to the power of
perseverance,
and the impact of supportive community.
